HOME PRIVATE YOGA GENEVA WITH CARINA
You deserve to spend meaningful time with yourself each week.
You’re overworked and overstressed. Your body aches and things aren’t moving like they used to. You’d like to make it to a yoga class but just getting there seems overwhelming. I’ll come to your place – at a time that works for you – and give you compassionate and personalized care so you can thrive in your yoga practice – and in your life.
Hello, I’m Karina/Carina.
Strengthen, lengthen and boost your flexibility with me! I’m offering everything from traditional power flow classes to ‘broga’ (yoga for men) and science of stretching (gravity yoga). Yoga Trapeze, anyone? To mix it up even more, try yoga trapeze or rocket yoga, and on Sunday afternoons, settle in for an incredible 90-minute yoga /relaxation session.
I’m 100% confident that no matter what your level of experience, ability or flexibility – I can give you a profound experience of yoga that will help you become more powerfully alive in your body, wholeheartedly connected and engaged in the world, and mindfully resilient, so you can roll with whatever comes your way. Private yoga sessions are personalised and designed to your needs and requirements, whether that be learning the basics and increasing flexibility, or refining your technique and learning advanced postures and breathing techniques. I can combine the different styles within the class or change the style each depending on how you feel that day.

If you feel anxious to practise at a gym or in yoga studio in front of strangers, don’t worry because you’re not alone. The truth is, doing yoga around people you don’t know can be challenging, especially if you’re new and everything still feels awkward and foreign.
Having a personal yoga teacher/trainer that comes to your home is fantastic because it offers you the benefit of privacy. You don’t have to worry about what others might think, and your personal teacher can focus entirely on you.
Forget everything you thought you knew about personal yoga practice!
I am more than just a yoga teacher/trainer.
I have radically redefined the art and science of one-to-one yoga class and personal training to create an experience that will transform your body, your health and your life.
Whether you work together with me one-to-one at home, in my private studio, virtually, or online, my ethos is the same – excellence in everything I do, honesty and integrity as your trusted partner, and an approach tailored to your unique goals.
HOW DOES THIS GO?
First, give me a call or schedule a time for me to call you. We’ll consult on the phone to make sure we’re a good fit.
Next, we’ll set up a complimentary private yoga session done in the comfort of your own home. During this session we will assess what your needs and what you’re looking for in a yoga practice. From there, we create a plan to meet once, twice or three times a week with a yoga program specifically tailored to your mind, body and wellness needs.

Injuries, Postural Alignment and Chronic Pain
I specialize in private one on one yoga sessions with a focus on postural alignment, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Oftentimes, class settings are not appropriate for those with injuries. No two bodies are the same. With that in mind, I will design a program tailored to your specific body, mind and wellness needs. Our sessions will draw influences from:
Gravity Yoga (lots of props, holding poses for 2-5 minutes with proper alignment and form, helps to build flexibility and strength
Vinyasa (active, flow, sweaty)
Yin (slow, meditative, focused on releasing the connective tissue between your muscles and fascia throughout the body)
Restorative (prop heavy, slow, restful and meditative practice)
Private yoga works best when you make a commitment to it. After our initial introductory session, I offer my services in packages of 10 or more and ask for a three-month commitment. By scheduling regular yoga sessions one to three times per week, we can go deeper into your interests and needs over time. I’m also happy to support your practice via text and email between sessions, too. To get a sense of pricing, private yoga runs about the same as an hour massage or bodywork in Geneva. You will receive a rate quote on your consultation phone call.

My Style of Teaching
My goal as a yoga teacher is to help my students connect with themselves through the practice using breath, mindfulness, and intuitive movement. I use a practical approach to teaching private yoga and group yoga which helps new students understand the practice and helps more experienced students understand the practice in a deeper way. My teaching focuses on the whole body using traditional yoga movements as well as movements based on mobility.
