The “Infinity Movement Flow” program was created by Caro, a dedicated and experienced yoga teacher based in Geneva, Switzerland. Hey, I’m Cara! I’m a passionate and experienced yoga teacher based in Geneva, Switzerland. I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years and teaching for 5 years, specializing in Hatha, vinyasa, and rocket yoga. I often get mistaken for being much younger than my actual age of 35! 
As an assistant trainer at Yogabody Yoga Teachers College in Barcelona, I’m dedicated to maintaining my own personal practice, which helps to inform my teaching and make my classes even more effective. I also offer private classes for students who want to work on their physical and mental goals. I’m committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for my students to explore their practice.
 
In addition to my work with private students, I have a particular passion for teaching yoga to teenagers. I’ve developed a special program that combines yoga, mindfulness, and breathing techniques to help young people manage stress and anxiety. My classes are fun, engaging, and tailored to the unique needs of this age group. Ultimately, my goal is to bring yoga to schools and high schools around the world, so that even more young people can benefit from this transformative practice.
 
With my friendly and approachable teaching style, I’m committed to helping my students achieve their goals and reach their full potential. The program is divided into three parts, each designed to meet the unique needs of different populations. The first part is focused on women’s health and is designed to help women maintain hormonal balance, particularly those who suffer from conditions such as endometriosis. The program combines specific yoga postures, breathwork techniques, and meditation practices to help women achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
 
The second part of the program is designed for crossfit enthusiasts and is focused on building strength and mobility. The program combines dynamic movement sequences with strength-building exercises to help athletes achieve peak performance and reduce the risk of injury. 
 
Finally, the third part of the program is aimed at teenagers and focuses on mindful movement and self-control. The program combines yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques to help young people manage stress and anxiety, improve their focus and concentration, and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness.
 
At the heart of the “Infinity Movement Flow” program is Caro’s belief that movement, mindfulness, and breathwork are essential components of optimal health and wellbeing. By combining these three elements in a holistic and integrated way, she aims to help people of all ages and backgrounds achieve their full potential and lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

Equilibrium: Barre & Yoga Fusion Class

Equilibrium:  Barre & Yoga Fusion Class – For Anyone, at Any Age

No matter your age, lifestyle or fitness level, I offer classes designed for your specific needs and abilities. My classes are for all bodies, all levels, offering plenty of variations, and my class playlists are something I take much pride in!

My new Barre and Yoga Fusion Class  is a defined as a combination of ballet moves with Yoga. It focuses on working muscles through small, isometric movements. It uses your own body weight as resistance, although sometimes hand weights and resistance bands are also incorporated. Muscles are worked to the point of fatigue – on purpose. My barre and yoga fusion class offers more than just physical benefits through. It increases your mind and body awareness and your focus and concentration. When you focus on the technique of the movement, it lets your mind relax and can decrease stress levels. You also get endorphins from it just as you would any other workout and you will see and feel results in about a week or two of classes if you come three or more times per week. You will feel your muscles toning up, if you are runner, your endurance will be much better than before Barre & Yoga Class. 

When I’m not on my mat, I’m working as a writer, assistant trainer (Yogabody® Yoga Teachers College®) and teaching yoga instructors, or discovering the next best coffee shop in France and Switzerland.

The Benefits Of Yoga And Barre Classes

The positive feelings – and results – of a good yoga and barre class are unmatched.    Yoga and barre complement each other very well.   I have designed your weekly class well, so you get cardio, strength and flexibility in a very comfortable and motivating setting.      

Are yoga and barre classes just a fad?  Absolutely not.   Yoga has been around for 5,000 years – yes, 5,000 years!   Safe to say it’s here to stay.  Barre is “relatively new” to our area but has been around for many, many years.  The barre method is Barre Intensity, which combines elements of yoga and functional fitness into one great, low impact workout.  The best of everything in one workout!

Why I love IBBFA Barre Training

I have been teaching Yoga now in France and Switzerland since 2020. And I love it. But I wasn’t flexible enough so I started barre training in the UK where I worked. When I arrived home I came across Lisa’s IBBFA Barre Certification training course  and found it perfect to regain my fitness.

Barre fitness is primarily low impact in its nature but gentle on the joints. The small isometric moves (IE holding your body still whilst you do small concentrated muscle contractions) get right into the muscle and cause those shakes that we can often experience! And of course that wonderful ‘burn’ we get! It also means that the movements strengthen and tone the muscles without increasing bulk as its body weight or small hand weights or therabands. I also love that by using the barre as a prop (hence its name) is that your posture can dramatically be improved as well. It really helps to hold yourself correctly by tucking under your tail bone, opening up the chest and keeping the shoulders down. 

I also love the energized feeling one gets after busting out a 45 min workout. It really does work the whole body and works the cardiovascular system more than you think it would do. And I think we all love the sense that we can relive our childhood dance classes or release that inner ballerina if you never had a chance previously. You just feel taller with longer limbs after a class, I find I carry myself better.

I’m also a runner and the exercises preformed during barre I found massively helped the strength and stability of my glutes.

BALLET BASED FITNESS 

It’s a fun and effective workout that incorporates the fundamentals of ballet and barre with aerobics and resistance training. Ballerobica® is a total body workout that works different muscle groups at varied intensities, burning calories and toning the entire body, and it keeps clients interested, making them want to come back for more. 

Ballerobica® is a total body workout that combines the fundamentals of ballet with cardio and strength training. The ballet barre is used to support the body in both static and dynamic movement, which leads to long, lean muscles. The cardio revs up your metabolic rate for an increased calorie burn, and the strength training tones and tightens. This hybrid workout burns fat and produces perky booties, toned arms, lean thighs, and flat abs. The end result is a leaner more graceful body that has been toned and tightened in all the right areas. 

As a handstand coach, I specialize in helping people of all levels to achieve the freedom and confidence of a freestanding handstand. I work closely with each of my students to assess their current level of strength, flexibility, and skill, and create a customized training plan that is tailored to their unique needs and goals.
 
My coaching approach is based on a combination of drills, exercises, and techniques that are designed to help students improve their balance, body control, and overall handstand technique. I believe that with the right guidance and practice, anyone can learn to leave the wall and perform a freestanding handstand.
 
In addition to my focus on technique and form, I also place a strong emphasis on building strength and flexibility. I work with my students to develop a strong core, upper body, and lower body, as well as improve their mobility and range of motion. By taking a holistic approach to handstand training, I help my students achieve their full potential and develop a deep sense of body awareness and control.

In order to book a private class with me, please schedule a free 20min online consultation to learn about your current yoga practice, physical condition, goals and focus areas (flexibility/mobility, strengthening, mindfulness, stress reduction, tension release etc) as well as any past/present injuries/disabilities.

On the video call, I will explain how my private classes work and the class packs/plans available. We will agree on a day and time for our sessions that works for both of us.
